EDC flags parking as priority; staff to commission parking study and updates given on Council Creek trail

Commissioners and staff used the updates portion of the Jan. 21 meeting to flag near-term priorities and community events. Margaret Garza and others emphasized that parking is needed in the Town Center; Barbara Fryer told the group that the City is planning to commission a parking study to inform current and future parking solutions.
City staff also updated commissioners on design and construction progress for the Council Creek regional trail and noted other ongoing private and public projects. Commissioners mentioned upcoming Chamber events and Centro Cultural’s end-of-February gala as items of community interest.
