Richland trustees ratify teacher and classified tentative agreements, align management pay

The Richland Governing Board unanimously approved tentative agreements with both the Richland Teachers' Association (RTA) and the California School Employees Association (CSEA) during its Feb. 10 meeting.
Superintendent Annette Blacklock presented AB 1200 cost disclosures for both classified and certificated bargaining units and recommended board approval of the final proposed terms. The CSEA agreement was ratified by the chapter on Dec. 19, 2025; the RTA agreement was ratified Jan. 20, 2026. The board approved the disclosure and final terms for each contract (motions and roll-call votes recorded; Ayes: 4).
