Board affirms intent to levy developer fees and authorizes preschool/TK grant applications for Golden Oak

Chief Business Official Dr. Xavier Tavorn asked the board to approve a resolution affirming the district's intent to levy statutory school facilities fees at the maximum allowable rate consistent with current law and the district's Developer Fee Justification Study; he said an updated study is underway. Trustees approved the resolution 4–0 to preserve eligibility for state school facilities funding.
Tavorn also presented two resolutions authorizing submission of applications for the Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Full-Day Kindergarten Facilities Grant Program for Golden Oak Elementary (Resolutions #2026-06 and #2026-07). The board authorized the superintendent to complete and submit required documentation in coordination with Caldwell Flores Winters Inc.
