Trustees approve $519,302 AV purchase for Redwood ELOP classrooms and additional classroom tech at Sequoia

Director of Technology Robert Stout described planned audio-visual infrastructure and equipment for four new Expanded Learning classrooms at Redwood and sought approval for procurement already included in the 2025–26 budget. The board approved the AV package for Redwood at $519,302.29, funded through ELOP (Resource 2600).
Stout also presented SMART displays with adjustable lifts for eight Special Education and TK-K classrooms at Sequoia ($37,163.58) and TeachLogic classroom amplification systems with handheld and lapel microphones ($48,641.24). Both Sequoia technology purchases are funded through LCAP Supplemental and Concentration funds and were approved 4–0.
