Board accepts second interim report, audit and approves transportation plan tied to AB 181

Chief Business Official Dr. Xavier Tavorn presented the 2025-26 Second Interim Financial Report certifying the district can meet its fiscal obligations for the current and subsequent two years; the board accepted the report. Dr. Tavorn also reported receipt of the 2024-25 audit report from CWDL, Certified Public Accountants, and the board approved acceptance of the audited statements. "A copy of the 2024-2025 audit report from CWDL, Certified Public Accountants, has been received," he said.
Director of Planning, Facilities & Operations Mr. Yanez reported the Transportation Safety Plan required under Assembly Bill 181, which allows districts to be reimbursed for a percentage of prior-year eligible transportation expenditures; the plan is board-approved annually prior to April 1. The board approved the transportation plan and the audit acceptance in unanimous votes.
