Board approves consent agenda; Rio Real campus assignment tabled to Oct. 1
Summary
The board approved a broad consent agenda including personnel, MOUs with Gold Coast Health Care and Ventura County Office of Education, a Ventura Land Trust agreement, adoption of the GANN limit, and an amended playground quote; the Rio Real Campus Project Assignment 2310-05 from A4E was tabled to the Oct. 1 special meeting.
The Rio School District Board approved its consent agenda by unanimous vote, covering routine and contractual items listed on the agenda.
Consent items approved included the minutes of previous meetings, the personnel report for Aug. 13–Sept. 3, ratification of commercial warrants for Aug. 8–27, the donation report, a variable term waiver, adoption of the GANN limit (Resolution No. 25/26‑3), a revised memorandum of understanding with Gold Coast Health Care, a library support services MOU with the Ventura County Office of Education, and a Ventura Land Trust Agreement for 2025–26. The board also approved an amended quote for the Rio Lindo playground structure from Zoom Recreation.
Trustee Eisenhauer noted that item 10.8, Approval of Rio Real Campus Project Assignment 2310‑05 from A4E, would be tabled until the next special board meeting on Oct. 1, 2025; the minutes show that item as tabled and therefore not approved at this meeting.
