Longtime resident asks Comal County to require notice to lot owners when platted lots are subdivided

“What I'm asking the court to consider is for platted properties in the county only that any request for subdivision be accompanied… notifying in writing all of the other lot owners in that subdivision,” Maroney said. He framed the request as a low‑cost, pragmatic step that would reduce surprise and tension among neighbors as growth increases demands on water and roads.
