City Planner Chris Watson presented updated Architectural District Standards at the March 5 special call meeting of the Architectural Review Committee of the City of Gluckstadt. Committee members reviewed prior discussions and re-examined guidance for storefronts, building façades and the use of roll-up doors in the Village and Neighborhood Commercial design districts.
Members discussed site design and vehicular features and noted that "drive-through facilities are strongly discouraged but not prohibited in these zones" as part of the draft guidance. The committee made edits and asked staff to return with updated District standards; no formal adoption or vote on the standards occurred on March 5.
