The Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of BRH Asset Management's site plan for a 13,500 square‑foot warehouse at 130 American Way. Caine Dearman presented the applicant's plan and told Commissioners "the Applicant plans to utilize the subject property for a 13,500 sq. ft. warehouse." The City's review identified the need for one additional handicap space; a landscape plan was submitted.
Commissioner Andrew Duggar moved to recommend approval as submitted and Commissioner Phillips King seconded; the Commission voted unanimously. Staff noted the applicant must provide the additional handicap parking space to comply with City requirements or provide a plan showing how that requirement will be met before the Mayor and Board of Aldermen consider final approvals.
