Resident urges Stephens County to upgrade small field stations used by county staff

He offered vendor price estimates for replacement shelters (roughly $3,900 to $5,500) and said improvements would "dramatically improve the work conditions" for employees and the county's image to prospective employers. "I think it's just a safety issue and just right thing to do," he told the board.
The board thanked him for the input; no formal motion was made during the meeting. Staff follow-up on capital priorities would occur in subsequent budget or capital-project discussions.
