The Stephens County Board approved three capital purchases and a digitization contract during the Jan. 28 meeting.
Staff presented a Stryker quote for $171,110.34 to supply two powered stretchers for ambulances, noting the items were ordered and being fabricated. The board also approved a $539,337 quote from High Looms for replacement and rewiring of athletic-field lighting at the recreation department and a $79,494.35 down payment to Cofile for digitizing probate records dating from the early 1900s to the present; staff said the remainder will be paid monthly as budgeted. "Our 1st quote is from Stryker in the amount of $171,110.34," staff stated during the review.
Each purchase was taken individually, motioned, seconded and approved. Staff will proceed with procurement and contract execution per budgeted capital-project funding.
