President John Wurm opened the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District board meeting on Oct. 22, 2024, and the board took time to recognize Director Steve Keefe, who said he is resigning from the board after 19 years.
Keefe told the board he wished to have on the record "the reasons for his resignation are that he serves on other boards and has other business that must be attended to," and he added he is confident in the District's leadership moving forward. General Manager Catherine Cerri thanked Keefe for his years of service, saying he "has been a great resource and a sound voice for the Board," and board members praised his contributions and dedication to family.
The recognition took place under agenda item 6; no formal board action was required to acknowledge the resignation. The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for Nov. 12, 2024.
