The board approved two separate agreements during its Jan. 28 meeting: a supplemental agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to reimburse the Toccoa-Stephens County Airport for a $3,000 unplanned lighting feature cost, and an agreement with Target Solutions Learning LLC to provide a scheduling platform for E911.
Regarding the airport item, staff said the airport fronted $3,000 for a lighting project's service-override disconnect feature and that "To get the money reimbursed by the state, a supplemental agreement needs to be signed. This is merely a matter of paperwork and is not a request by the airport for funding of any kind." The board moved and approved execution of the supplemental agreement and authorized the chairman to sign. On the E911 scheduling contract, staff said funds were budgeted and board approval was required for the agreement; the board approved that item as well.
Both actions were approved by motion, allowing the airport to receive reimbursement and the E911 team to proceed with its scheduling-platform implementation.
