"We will have a pre bid meeting, 10AM on October 22," said the presenting staff member during the briefing, and county engineering staff said the project has advanced to the bidding stage after design and coordination work. Commissioners approved releasing the bid package and encouraged the procurement timeline to proceed.
Staff said the new alignment and structure will replace an old alignment and provide improved access; engineers and county staff will answer questions during the pre-bid meeting and via the posted question deadlines.
