Commissioners appoint Lawrence Jackson to MPO active-transportation advisory committee

Comal County commissioners appointed Lawrence Jackson to the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization's Active Transportation Advisory Committee during their Sept. 26 meeting. Commissioners described Jackson as a long-time advocate for trails and a neighbor who will work on shared-use path and active-transport projects.
"Mister Jackson is an advocate for trails in in the county," one commissioner said when moving the appointment. Another commissioner added that Jackson is "a great advocate for our community and a hard worker." The court approved the appointment and authorized the county judge to execute any necessary paperwork.
