Comal County approves Chapter 381 incentive for Mile High distribution center promising about 150 jobs

Christy Tedonio, president and owner of Mile High, said the family-owned distribution company plans to expand into the San Antonio market from a site in Schertz, Comal County, and estimated the project would add roughly 150 full-time jobs. Mike Faleroni, the project lead, said the company expects to invest about $25,000,000 in real property and about $25,000,000 in personal property for the distribution facility. "We're hoping to bring approximately 150, additional jobs to the community," Faleroni said.
Faleroni and Tedonio described elevated real-property investment and some planned sustainability components to the design; the presenters also described wages averaging roughly $72,000 for many positions and said the company wanted to offer above-market compensation. Commissioners asked about site location (confirmed in Schertz) and the proposal moved, was seconded and passed; the court authorized the county judge to sign the Chapter 381 agreement.
