Comal County approves Nov. 5, 2024 election orders and polling plan

Elections staff briefed commissioners on logistics for the Nov. 5, 2024 general election, including approval of the order, designation of early voting locations (main and branch sites), election-day polling locations, appointment orders for judges and alternates, and establishment of the central accumulation station (CAS) with named CAS staff.
Elections official Cynthia Jaquay reported the county is approaching 142,000 registered voters and said the county will use countywide polling locations; after a brief discussion about tying polling locations to precinct numbers for voter inquiries, the court approved items 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 together.
