The council voted 6-0 to approve a street closure for Pasty Fest after Trustee Pamela Que moved and Trustee Matt L'Esperance seconded the motion. The approved motion appears in the minutes under New Business (Pasty Fest).
Council also discussed a proposed 48-hour closure for CroFest on Sixth Street between Oak and Elm. Nathan Jones provided a layout. Council members said a formal street-closure application, proof of insurance, and a public-safety plan are required before they will schedule a vote, and they agreed a special meeting could be held as soon as next week to consider the item.
