Council authorizes contract with Cybership LLC for Port software management

The Plaquemines Parish Council voted to authorize the Port to enter into a contract with Cybership, LLC for computer software management services. Commissioner Ronnie Newsom moved the resolution and Commissioner Carlton M. LaFrance, Sr. seconded; on roll call all members present voted yes and Commissioner Patricia McCarty was absent.
The resolution’s digest states the Port requires computer software management services to facilitate operations and recommends awarding the contract to Cybership, LLC. The resolution directs the Secretary to certify and release the action and authorizes Port employees and officials to carry out the purposes of the resolution without further Council reading or approval.
