The Plaquemines Parish Council on July 23 approved multiple construction permits and a one-time two-year extension for a borrow pit.
Resolution No. 26-233 approved applications including McMoran Oil & Gas's P&A of two wells and removal of surface facilities in West Lake Lery, Crescent Midstream's emergency anomaly repairs on an existing 16-inch pipeline (2.7 miles NE of Buras), and LLOX, LLC's proposed small pipelines in Breton Sound Blocks 31 and 32. Resolution No. 26-234 granted Plaquemines Dirt and Clay an extension to Borrow Pit #2021-335 at 22222 Hwy 23, Port Sulphur. Both resolutions were adopted with vote records showing approval by present council members and Council Member Mark Cognevich abstaining on Resolution 26-233's vote record as noted.
