Council awards one-year supply authority to Ferguson Enterprises for water-system parts

Resolution No. 26-231 authorizes the parish purchasing agent to issue purchase orders to Ferguson Enterprises for pipe, saddles, curb stops, fire hydrants and tees for one year following a July 8, 2026 bid opening; the Purchasing Agent recommended Ferguson as the overall low bidder.
The Plaquemines Parish Council on July 23 authorized the parish Purchasing Agent to issue purchase orders to Ferguson Enterprises of Metairie for pipe, saddles, curb stops, fire hydrants, tees and related items for parishwide use for one year. Bids were received on July 8, 2026; Purchasing Agent Diedra C. Encalade recommended Ferguson as the overall low bidder and the council concurred.
The resolution (No. 26-231) directs the Purchasing Agent to issue purchase orders on an as-needed basis in accordance with the submitted bids and authorizes the secretary to certify and release the resolution for execution.
