Engineers to reinspect dead oak; ESF contract underway for NWRA 33 cleanup

District Engineer Kurt Heath said his initial inspection found the tree is on a neighboring resident's property at 11906 Heritage Pointe Drive and not within CDD easements; he committed to inspect the area again.
The board also added an action item and accepted that Environmental Solutions Florida, Inc. (ESF) has a contract for vegetation removal and cleanup on NWRA 33 near Rolling Hills Loop; Mr. Adams and Mr. Heath said vegetation removal is underway and that Mr. Heath will coordinate inspections and repairs once ESF's work is complete. "Mr. Heath’s initial report concluded that the tree is not the CDD’s responsibility," the minutes state.
Separately, district staff reported routine maintenance and pond-management tasks: drainage inlet repairs on Breland Drive and Hollander Avenue, a repaired concrete curb on Fair Way Drive, and scheduled spatterdock reductions in lakes 33 and 36 in May. The board asked staff to document the tree issue with photos for follow-up.
