The Heritage Pines Community Development District board on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed operations and maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and scheduled a public hearing on the measure for July 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room.
District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed adjustments compared with the current year and said the net effect was a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations and that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit year‑over‑year. "The proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget is similar to the Fiscal Year 2025 budget," Adams said during the presentation.
The board voted unanimously to adopt the resolution on a motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan. The adoption formally sets the legal steps required under Florida law, including transmittal and publication, and advances the process to the July public hearing when residents may comment on final assessments and line items.
