Sperry board approves routine transfers and payments, reviews financial statements

Trustees reviewed the town’s financial statements and accepted several interfund transfers during the May 8, 2025 meeting. The transfers recorded in the minutes were: $11,173.39 from the Community Enhancement fund to the General Fund; $1,000.00 from Fire Department savings to Fire Department checking; and $1,322.00 from Emergency Services to Fire Department checking. The board accepted the transfers as part of its review of financial statements.
The board also voted to approve the payment of claims presented at the meeting, and earlier in the agenda approved the minutes from the April 10 regular meeting and the April 15 special meeting. Each of those motions passed unanimously according to the minutes.
