Orange County approves up to $75,000 to help Village of Chester buy 2.1 acres for open space

Sorensen, Commissioner of Planning, said the parcel is centrally located and that the village has a willing seller; he identified the acquisition as a SEQRA Type II action, meaning no further SEQRA review is required for this purchase. The motion was moved by Thomas J. Faggione, seconded by Matthew Fascalidi, and carried with all present voting in favor.
