Marilyn Meacham, a Rosewood Estates resident, used the public forum at the July 1 council meeting to ask the city to prioritize street repairs and crack-sealing in the 55-plus community near the hospital.
Meacham also alleged that a construction property owned by Scott Phillips has blocked three paved public access roads to his site, forcing heavy trucks to use a residential street near Rosewood Estates. She described seeing large trailer trucks and concrete equipment operating on an alternate gravel route adjacent to the condos and asked the city to investigate why public streets had been closed and whether those closures are authorized. The mayor said the comment was on record and staff would follow up.
Council meeting minutes show staff committed to following up on neighborhood pavement conditions and access issues raised in the public forum.
