The Board of Trustees voted unanimously June 12 to refer a proposed amendment to Section 4.5.5 of the Town of Sperry zoning code to the Planning Commission for consideration and recommendation.
Mayor Robert Morton moved to refer the proposed change, which concerns placement of mechanical/HVAC equipment on pre-existing, nonconforming platted lots with a width of 30 feet or less. Trustee Patrick McCotter seconded; trustees voted in favor with no recorded opposition. The planning commission will review the draft amendment and return a recommendation to the board.
