"It should be fairly quick," the engineer said when commissioners asked about the schedule; the bid documents call for 60 calendar days of work after mobilization.
Commissioners discussed timing to avoid heavy school traffic and noted the project will include lane and temporary closures. The court voted 5–0 to award the contract and directed staff to begin contract execution and inspection planning so construction can start next year in a phased manner designed to limit school disruptions.
