"The $48,600 is full restoration," the presenter said; the grant program requires a 50% match, which the town could fund from town-hall reserves or via a town meeting article if awarded.
Board members discussed alternatives (lighter restoration tiers, adding an educational component) and agreed staff should apply when the program opens in August. Decisions about funding would come later if the grant is awarded.
