Germantown board approves consent agenda including park bridge contract and arts placemaking grant

The Germantown Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved the consent agenda (items 9a–9j), authorizing several routine contracts, grants and purchases. Items read into the record included a contract for the Lehi Park access bridge replacement, a Tennessee Arts Commission Creative Placemaking Grant Award, Parks & Recreation donations, a memorandum of understanding between Germantown Municipal School District and the Germantown Police Department for FY26, a PEG disbursement to GMSD, purchase of a generator for Fire Station No. 2 (Dogwood), lake fountain controllers, picnic tables and benches, self-contained breathing apparatus cylinders, and a banking-and-signature-cards resolution.
Vice Mayor Mary Anne Gibson reminded residents that the consent agenda is distributed to the board midweek for review and said, "For the record, the consent agenda is sent to the board midweek prior to this meeting where board members have the opportunity to thoroughly review all items and ask questions of staff." No board member asked to remove an item and the board approved the consent agenda by roll call.
