Board hears update on water-remediation and PFAS projects at district sites

"Ion exchange at Meadowpond and granular activated carbon at the middle school," S13 said when outlining approved approaches, and staff noted county approvals and multi-agency coordination had slowed some earlier efforts but that the district now expects progress to accelerate.
Trustees discussed how these remediation costs are budgeted separately from the LES bond conversation and asked for community updates; staff agreed to provide public status reports on remediation milestones as approvals and testing progress.
