Chair Stan Darling called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m., noted the Open Meetings Act is available for public inspection, and the commission established a quorum with one member absent (Ortiz).
The commission dispensed with reading the June 15, 2026 minutes; Commissioner Landholm moved to approve and Commissioner McKay seconded. The motion carried 8-0. Subsequent agenda items included a Conditional Use Permit for a Casey's convenience store with fuel, plats to enable a VA clinic, and a planned development amendment to allow a fire station in Johnson Park; Planning Director Jeffrey B. Ray presented staff reports on each and the commission approved all items unanimously. Commissioner Sawtelle moved to adjourn; Commissioner McKay seconded and the meeting adjourned at approximately 5:30 p.m.
