Town Manager announces UDO kickoff and community sessions with IU

Town Manager Sandie Jones told the Council the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) process has begun with a small‑group kickoff and that consultants (REA) will provide quarterly updates to the Council. She said the town will hold community sessions as part of the Sustaining Hoosier Communities (SHC) outreach effort.
Jones announced two SHC community sessions: Feb. 12 in Nashville at the Season’s Conference Center and Feb. 19 in the Van Buren area. She said Indiana University representatives will attend those sessions to learn what projects the community wants to pursue. Jones also noted she will be out of the office the week following the meeting.
