Potter County Extension highlights senior services, mental health clinic and Walk Across Texas

Gresham said senior day provided health screenings, eye exams, dental education, flu shots, and a mobile mental wellness clinic; she reported “we have reached over 500 volunteers and seniors who attended that event.”
Gresham also described nutrition-focused education at the 'Bridal of the Panhandle' event and programs she runs year-round including chronic disease prevention, child care education and a Walk Across Texas initiative that this year included 120 walkers from 20 organizations. She thanked the court for support and encouraged commissioners to continue backing extension outreach and partnerships with local agencies.
