"We have 2 cemeteries that we must take care of now," the mayor said in explaining the delays.
The mayor also said there has been confusion about a $10 cutoff fee approved in the Manual of Fees at a prior meeting and reported that Councilmember Kevin Deshazo asked residents to call the city about concerns rather than posting on Facebook. Wyatt additionally proposed offering 15 old disc golf course baskets for sale and using proceeds to benefit the city. Councilmember Judd Johns noted that the golf course itself is looking good.
