The Bristow City Council voted July 7 to annex property described as the NW/4 of the SE/4 of Section 31, Township 16 North, Range 9 East, generally located south of the Kwikset property between South Maple Street and South Chestnutt Street, actions that the city attorney said are steps toward allowing Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. to locate a facility in the city.
Council then approved a Legal Notice of Annexation and a Joint Resolution by the Bristow Industrial Authority and the city council formally requesting the support of the Board of Commissioners of Creek County for development of manufacturing facilities, including a Kratos facility on the annexed land. The minutes record unanimous roll-call approval on both motions.
