The Calipatria Unified School District Board on June 22 approved the district's 2026'27 Budget and accepted 2025'26 Estimated Actual Expenditures that feed into the budget. The Board also adopted a Resolution regarding the Education Protection Account (EPA), committing EPA monies to be spent as shown in the adopted 2026'27 budget.
Those fiscal items were first moved into closed session with several other business matters. When the Board returned to open session at 9:13 p.m., Trustees revisited and approved the budget-related items. The minutes record roll call tallies for certain approvals as 6 ayes and 1 absent (Trustee Michael Fong) on items described as part of the budget package.
District staff indicated the budget summaries and supporting documents are available at the Superintendent's Office and on the district website. The resolutions and budget will guide expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year and are subject to routine monitoring and reporting to the Board.
