Board approves ICOE MOUs, English Learner Plan, CCAP agreements and names facility committee

Trustees also approved the 2026–27 English Learner Plan and a College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) dual-enrollment partnership agreement and an addendum to the existing CCAP agreement. The board accepted donations from the Calipatria Booster Club for CHS softball—a banner for $931.61 and uniforms for $2,811.38—and appointed a naming committee to follow Board Policy 7310, naming members including CHS Principal Eduardo Vega, Trustee Perez, Trustee Saiza, Athletic Director Ted Hughes and Counselor Alfonso Romero; the committee will identify a community resident and stakeholder to join. Each action passed 7–0.
