Council also approved closing the park area on July 5, 2025 for the display and granted an exception allowing Rainbow Nursing Home to discharge fireworks for residents on July 3, 2025. The contract and related park permit were approved following motions by Councilmember Judd Johns and second by Councilmember Joe Church.
