Amber Grow, with the Office of Neighborhood Services, said disposal passes for the waste-to-energy facility will return this fall and will be distributed at neighborhood council meetings. "Residents in the city of Spokane can attend their respective neighborhood council meeting beginning in August to receive a disposal pass valued at up to $30," she said, noting passes are valid until Oct. 31 and quantities are limited.
Grow advised residents to find their neighborhood council meeting schedule at spokianneighborhoods.org. The update did not specify how many passes will be available per meeting or whether proof of residency will be required.
