Board approves minutes and accepts unaudited financial statements

On Jan. 28 the River Ridge board approved amendments to the Nov. 19, 2024 Regular Meeting Minutes (several line edits were listed) and approved the minutes as amended on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Twombly.
Mrs. Cleo Adams presented unaudited financial statements as of Dec. 31, 2024. Staff described accounting recoding that moved some expenses from the Engineering budget to the Special Revenue Fund and reallocated $4,343 from Contingencies to the Landscape General Fund outside the gates. Mr. Blumenthal noted unassigned working capital carried into FY2025 and said the CDD was on sound financial footing; he and Mr. Long will prepare a 10-year forecast for a future agenda. Additional forecast items cited included the Lake 8 stormwater project, asphalt and gutter repairs and replacement of 31-year-old irrigation pipes.
