Board approves emergency street sweeping after storms; vendor performed eight passes

Chair Bob Schultz presented a Precision Cleaning, Inc. proposal for emergency street sweeping following storm debris. Operations Manager Shane Willis reported the vendor completed eight loads and made eight passes through the CDD during the clean-up.
On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford, the Board approved a one-time payment of $1,475 for storm clean-up street sweeping and authorized staff to add additional week-to-week cleanings during the next month if necessary. Mr. Long said he will evaluate and advise staff each week whether additional cleaning is needed.
