Engineer: Seaside & Master Drainage project to start; irrigation wiring change order approved up to $15,000

District engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project designed to preserve the original intent while allowing future changes. MRI expects the drainage work to begin within two to three weeks.
Mr. Krebs also presented ancillary irrigation work from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and about $1,300 each to raise roughly seven to eight irrigation heads. On a motion by Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Bob Schultz, the board approved the change order in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.
