River Ridge CDD adopts FY2024/25 budget after scrivener corrections

The River Ridge Community Development District unanimously adopted Resolution 2024-07 approving the Fiscal Year 2024/25 budget (Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2025) after staff and a supervisor corrected publication errors; no members of the public spoke at the budget hearing.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the board the budget published with the meeting materials contained errors before opening the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2024/25 budget. Mrs. Cleo Adams opened and closed the hearing with no members of the public speaking.
On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly, the board adopted Resolution 2024-07 relating to annual appropriations and adopting the district budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025, as amended. The minutes record the motion passed "with all in favor." The record also notes Mr. Blumenthal submitted scrivener corrections to the street-sweeping description in the published packet, which staff incorporated before adoption.
The adopted resolution authorizes budget amendments consistent with the document the board approved. The board did not receive written or oral comments from affected property owners during the hearing. The budget adoption takes effect on Oct. 1, 2024 per the resolution language.
