Otto told the board that the project team had faced issues at a February Wright County meeting and that a 2009 Natural Resources overlay applies to the site. He said the previously recommended plan called for four 10‑acre lots; the current request is for a planned unit development (PUD) featuring two larger lots and two smaller lots that use the creek as a property boundary.
Supervisor Nelson said the new proposal was "well thought out," and Planning & Zoning Chair Chris Klein said it "fit the ordinance better." Commissioner Vanek said the revised layout "solved the problem of how to use your property on the other side of the creek." The board recorded an 8‑0 vote to recommend rezoning the parcel to Ag‑Res; the recommendation will be considered by Wright County officials.
