Loami trustees approve routine financial reports and bills; enter executive session on pending litigation

At the June 11 meeting trustees handled routine financial and procedural items by motion and roll-call votes. Treasurer Brad Colantino presented the May 2026 treasurer's report; Trustee Todd Lawson moved to accept it and Trustee Billy Cohen seconded. The roll call recorded Cohen Aye, Lawson Aye, Mann Aye, Stark Aye; Nay 0. The minutes from May 14, 2026 were approved as amended after a motion from Trustee Cohen and a second from Trustee Lawson. Clerk Carissa Grider presented unpaid bills and Trustee Lawson moved to approve them; Trustee Cohen seconded and the motion carried by roll call (same recorded Aye votes; Nay 0).
Trustee Cohen moved, and Trustee Lawson seconded, to enter Executive Session to discuss pending litigation pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11); "all present voted in favor." The board later voted to exit Executive Session and returned to open session. With no further business the board adjourned; the next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
