Council creates impact-fee funds and approves rodeo budget amendment

Treasurer Kelly Smith said the step was primarily bookkeeping to account for new revenue streams created after the mid-fiscal-year adoption of impact fees.
"We normally create/edit fund numbers in the budget adoption resolution hearings so we do not have to do a separate resolution," Kelly Smith explained, adding that removal of old mobile homes and new construction drove impact-fee revenue into the current fiscal year. Council then approved Resolution #477-2026, a budget amendment allowing the Three Forks Rodeo Arena to pay off a bleacher loan and deposit monies into Funds #2397 and #2398; the amendment passed unanimously.
Council discussion framed these actions as administrative steps to align accounting with previously adopted policies; no changes to fee schedules or appropriations beyond the amendment were made at the meeting.
