During the public-comment period, Michael Muscat asked about the reappointment of Charlotte Ignash to the Harbor Commission and about a donation to the sheriff's department. Clyde Campbell said the senior millage pays for meals and home delivery, and the Legion places flags at the cemetery. Louis Johnson asked council for an update on the community/recreation center.
Scott Maust reported that the county has completed negotiations with four of seven labor groups and discussed the Road Commission’s plans for snow events and a possible Army Corps dredging project this spring. Jerald Ignash told the council he would be interested in the mayor’s position if it becomes open. Mayor Pro Tem Darin Sprague offered well wishes to absent Mayor Christopher Stahl before adjourning the meeting at 6:05 p.m.
