At the Feb. 5 meeting Pine duBois reported progress on a dredging and fish-ladder project tied to local river and lake management. DuBois said the dredge assembly was underway in New Bedford, the fish ladder remained under construction, and a Notice of Intent had been filed with the Conservation Commission.
DuBois also reported that the project received funding from the Central Plymouth County Water District Commission and from Senator Brady's office, and that the legislation related to the project was voted favorably in the House and was progressing through Ways and Means. The board noted that videos of the project were available but did not record detailed timelines or final cost figures in the minutes.
