The Caseville City Council approved event requests for Shanty Days scheduled Feb. 14, 2026, including an entertainment tent at Riverside Park and authorization for the City Chief to sign a liquor-license request, provided required permits and insurance are obtained. Council also approved a Vintage Snowmobile show at Memorial Park under the same permit/insurance conditions. The motion carried 5-0.
Council stipulated that the events must obtain proper permits and insurance before they proceed. The approval was recorded during the new-business portion of the Dec. 8 meeting.
